ABBA Honored with Sweden's Prestigious Order of Vasa After 50 Years

ABBA, the legendary Swedish pop group that rocked the world with their hit "Waterloo" in the 1974 Eurovision Song Contest, is about to receive one of Sweden's highest honors. On Friday, Agnetha Fältskog, Björn Ulvaeus, Benny Andersson, and Anni-Frid Lyngstad will be awarded the royal Order of Vasa as "Commander of the First Class." This award recognizes their "very outstanding efforts in Swedish and international music life."
