Dolly Parton gave a shoutout to Beyoncé's new album on Instagram after Queen Bey revealed the tracklist for her upcoming record, including what seems to be a cover of "Jolene." Beyoncé, at 42 years old, dropped a poster-style tracklist with 27 song titles for her Cowboy Carter album, hinting at her version of Parton's 1973 hit. Parton, 78, urged her fans to listen to her original "Jolene" while anticipating Beyoncé's release.

Parton tweeted, "Listen to my original 'Jolene' while you wait for @Beyonce’s COWBOY CARTER - Dolly P," alongside a comparison of Beyoncé's tracklist poster and her own "Jolene" artwork. The "I Will Always Love You" singer also shared the news on her Instagram Story, highlighting her Spotify-hit version of "Jolene," streamed over 600 million times.

Fans flooded Beyoncé's post with excitement over the extensive tracklist, especially the nod to "Jolene." Comments like "Joleneeeeeeee I’m gonna cry!" and "The legends 🫢 Dolly P and Bey🥹 laaawwwwddddd" poured in, with one fan speculating, "This album is about to …baby she’s bout to cut Jolene UP😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨."

The official Cowboy Carter tracklist features songs like "American Requiem," "Blackbird," "16 Carriages," "Protector," "My Rose," "Smoke Hour," and many more. While the poster mentions Parton, Willie Nelson, and Linda Martell, it's unclear if they'll be featured or sampled in the songs.

Parton teased the "Jolene" cover in an earlier interview with Knox News, expressing her excitement about Beyoncé's take on the song. "I love her!" Parton said of Beyoncé. "She's a beautiful girl and a great singer. We've kind of sent messages back and forth through the years. And she and her mother were like fans, and I was always touched that they were fans, and I always thought she was great."
