Raven-Symoné is speaking out against online trolls who have been sending death threats to her wife, Miranda Pearman-Maday. The "Raven's Home" star took to TikTok, posting a video with Pearman-Maday, addressing the hate they've received following their recent podcast appearance.
In the podcast, Pearman-Maday mentioned that before meeting Raven-Symoné in 2015, she hadn't watched "That's So Raven" or many of Raven's other projects. This sparked criticism online, with some going as far as sending death threats to Pearman-Maday.
Raven-Symoné, in the TikTok video, defended her wife, urging people to stop the hate. She emphasized that Pearman-Maday never claimed not to know who Raven was, but simply hadn't watched her shows growing up.
Pearman-Maday also clarified that she has since seen much of Raven-Symoné's work and appreciates her talent. Despite this, she admitted that Raven wasn't on her radar before they got together.
In response to a TikTok user who criticized her for not watching Raven-Symoné's earlier work, Pearman-Maday shared a clip from their appearance on the "Tamron Hall Show." In the clip, Raven-Symoné expressed admiration for her wife not seeing her as a famous person, despite Raven's long-standing fame.
