Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, and Prince Harry's production company, Archewell Productions, has exciting news for Netflix viewers! They're working on two new unscripted series, but hold your horses, as the titles and release dates are still under wraps. These projects are currently in the early stages of production.
The first series, curated by Meghan herself (aka Meghan Markle), promises to be a delightful blend of cooking, gardening, entertaining, and celebrating friendships. Leah Hariton, known for her work on "Selena + Chef," is taking the reins as showrunner. And that's not all – Michael Steed, who has worked on "My Next Guest Needs No Introduction" and "Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown," is directing. This series, produced by Sony Pictures Television's Intellectual Property Corporation, boasts an impressive lineup of executive producers, including Meghan, Hariton, Archewell's Chanel Pysnik, and IPC's Aaron Saidman and Eli Holzman.
The second series takes us to the U.S. Open Polo Championship in Wellington, Fla., offering viewers an exclusive peek into the world of professional polo. This show, primarily known for its glamour and social allure, promises to reveal the sport's raw intensity and dedication required to compete at the highest level. Miloš Balać, known for his work on "Welcome to Wrexham," is leading the show, with Meghan, Prince Harry, Psynik, Ian Samplin, and Boardwalk Pictures' Andrew Fried, Sarina Roma, and Dane Lillegard serving as executive producers.
Archewell has already made its mark on Netflix with three previous series: the popular docuseries "Harry & Meghan," along with "Heart of Invictus" and "Live to Lead." With these new projects on the horizon, it's clear that Meghan and Harry are just getting started!
