So, guess what? Justin Timberlake made a killer comeback on Saturday Night Live, and you know what that means – Barry Gibb had to crash the party!
Timberlake and Jimmy Fallon dusted off The Barry Gibb Talk Show for its seventh round, making it over 10 years since the last time they rocked it on the show.
As usual, Fallon, the Tonight Show maestro, and Timberlake, the former NSync heartthrob, reprised their roles as Barry Gibb and his silent brother Robin. Robin's got nothing much to say, but that's part of the charm.
They kept the Bee Gees’ “Nights on Broadway” as the hilarious backdrop for their parody, and this time, they had Bowen Yang, Keenan Thompson, and the fabulous host Dakota Johnson joining the fun.
Fallon's Barry Gibb couldn't resist throwing some playful jabs, saying, “You look like if Don King ate another Don King. I fear nothing; I watched Saltburn with my entire family, and I knew about the bathtub scene beforehand.”
He proudly declared, “I am legend; I have not cried in 77 years except for Australian show Bluey. If you don’t cry at Bluey, you’re not a real man.”
This epic sketch started back in 2003 when Timberlake first hosted and Fallon was still part of the SNL crew. They revived it a couple of times over the years, with memorable comebacks in 2005, 2006, 2009, and 2011. The last time we saw them before this stellar night was in December 2013, and guess what – Barry Gibb made a surprise appearance, a year after Robin’s sad departure. Talk about keeping the tradition alive!
