Travis Kelce, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, returned to his Cleveland roots over the weekend after globe-trotting with Taylor Swift. Kelce, who hails from Cleveland Heights, revisited "The Land" and stopped by Geraci's Slice Shop in downtown Cleveland for some delicious pizza. Despite his worldwide fame, Kelce kept a low profile, sporting black sunglasses and a baseball cap while inside the shop.
The restaurant shared a photo of Kelce standing next to a blue payphone under a neon sign that humorously read, "Talk pizza to me." Geraci's captioned the Instagram post with excitement, mentioning Kelce's visit and cheekily suggesting he should bring Taylor Swift next time.
According to Chelsea Williams, co-owner of Geraci's, Kelce was incredibly polite and kind during his visit. She mentioned that although other patrons recognized him, they respected his privacy and allowed him to enjoy his meal with friends. Kelce indulged in two slices of pizza—one pepperoni and the other called the Hot Tito's, featuring pepperoni, sausage, and a hot honey drizzle.
Kelce's visit to his Northeast Ohio hometown followed a recent trip to the Bahamas with Swift. Vacationers on the island of Eleuthera spotted the pair, although the photos captured were grainy. The duo seemed to be enjoying a stroll, possibly holding hands, after Swift's performances in Asia and Australia for her Eras Tour.
In a podcast episode with his brother, Jason Kelce, Travis described his "unique" trip to Singapore to see Swift's concert. Winning the Super Bowl with the Chiefs in February has given him more time for such experiences. During their time in Singapore, fans caught the couple on a casual date night at a local mall, enjoying the sights and cuisine.
Swift is currently on a break from her tour before resuming shows in May, starting with the European leg in Paris. She will also release her highly anticipated 11th studio album, *The Tortured Poets Department*, on April 19, after announcing it at the Grammys.
