Dorset Postcodes Celebrate People’s Postcode Lottery Wins in June 2026

Several households across Dorset enjoyed cash prizes in the People's Postcode Lottery during June 2026, with lucky winners taking home thousands of pounds.

While most winning postcodes received £1,000 prizes, one Dorset neighborhood scored an even bigger reward.

Big Highlight

  • BH6 5RB – Bournemouth landed a Street Prize, worth £30,000 per ticket for eligible players.
  • No Dorset postcode won the Millionaire Street prize during June 2026.

Dorset Winning Postcodes for June 2026

The following Dorset postcodes were selected during the month's draws:

  • DT1 2BY – Dorchester (drawn on June 5, 2026)
  • BH6 5RB – Bournemouth (drawn on June 27, 2026)
  • BH24 2JL – Ashley Heath (drawn on June 27, 2026)
  • BH15 1LX – Poole (drawn on June 29, 2026)

Only a handful of Dorset postcodes were selected during the month, and each winning area was drawn just once.

How the People's Postcode Lottery Works

The People's Postcode Lottery is a subscription-based game that supports charities while giving players the chance to win cash prizes.

Here's how the prize structure works:

  • Every day, 20 postcodes across the UK each win £1,000 per ticket.
  • Every Saturday, players have a chance to share a £1 million prize.
  • In every month except April and December, one lucky postcode is guaranteed a £250,000 prize for every winning ticket.

If a postcode is selected for the £250,000 prize, every valid ticket registered to that postcode receives the full amount. Players with multiple tickets receive a separate prize for each ticket they hold.

During April and December, the special Postcode Millions event replaces the monthly £250,000 draw, giving one postcode sector the opportunity to share millions of pounds in prizes.

A postcode sector covers a larger area than an individual postcode. For example, the postcode EH2 4ET belongs to the postcode sector EH2 4.

Under the Gambling Act 2005, the maximum prize available from a single ticket is 10% of the draw proceeds, capped at £500,000.

Supporting Charities

The lottery also helps fund thousands of charitable organizations. At least 33% of every ticket sold goes directly to good causes.

So far, players have helped raise more than £1.7 billion, supporting organizations including Maggie's, Alzheimer's Society, Dogs Trust, Mind, and NSPCC.
