Georgia Powerball Players Win $50,000 Each in August 12 Drawing

Four Georgia lottery players walked away with $50,000 each after hitting a big prize in the Powerball drawing on Wednesday, August 12.

The winning tickets were purchased through the Georgia Lottery mobile app and at the Georgia Lottery Kiosk in the North Terminal of Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. The winners were residents of Cumming, Talbotton, and Atlanta.

To win the $50,000 prize, each ticket matched four of the five white balls plus the red Powerball.

Winning numbers: 4, 26, 66, 67, 69 and Powerball 9

Meanwhile, one lucky Illinois player claimed the $1 billion Powerball jackpot in the same drawing.

The next drawing is scheduled for Saturday, August 15, with an estimated $20 million jackpot up for grabs.
