Lotto.com Named Official Lottery Courier Partner of World Series of Golf Satellite Series
Golf and poker are coming together in a unique new competition, and Lotto.com is joining the action as the Official Lottery Courier Partner of the World Series of Golf (WSG) Satellite Series.
Announced on August 28, 2026, the partnership will see Lotto.com present a $10,000 prize check to the Satellite Series winner. That money will cover the winner’s entry fee to the WSG Championship National Final at Topgolf Scottsdale in Arizona on October 2, 2026.
But the $10,000 prize is just the beginning. The National Final winner will earn a spot in the World Series of Golf Championship and have a chance to compete for up to $250,000.
A New Kind of Golf Competition
The Satellite Series officially launched on July 28 with the first-ever WSG qualifying tournament at Topgolf. The poker-style golf event will take place simultaneously at 30 Topgolf locations across 11 states on September 1 and 2.
Lotto.com is sponsoring seven of those locations:
- Scottsdale, Gilbert, Glendale and Tucson, Arizona
- Centennial, Thornton and Colorado Springs, Colorado
The company’s branding will appear across the competition, including live leaderboards, player check-in areas, prize presentation backdrops and the WSG scoring app. Lotto.com representatives will also attend the National Championship in October.
How the Satellite Series Works
Qualifying takes place over two nights.
On September 1, as many as 128 players at each venue will compete from assigned Topgolf bays. Players will complete nine virtual golf holes while using poker-style strategies such as betting, raising, calling and folding after each tee shot.
Every decision comes with a 55-second time limit, while the ante doubles every three holes. The player with the lowest score on each hole takes the pot.
Each bay produces a winner. Those winners then compete until the field is reduced to eight players, who move on to the second night. Ultimately, one champion will emerge from each of the 30 venues.
All 30 venue champions will receive an invitation to the National Final in Scottsdale on October 2.
Importantly, no real money is wagered at the Topgolf locations. Players use virtual chips and bankrolls through the app.
Lotto.com Calls It a “Big Winner” Moment
World Series of Golf CEO Robert Davidman said the partnership works because both golf and poker deliver the same kind of late-stage excitement.
He described the $10,000 check as the biggest check Lotto.com will present during the series and said the moment a player goes from competing at a Topgolf bay in September to standing on stage in Scottsdale in October will capture what the event is all about.
Lotto.com CEO Thomas Metzger also highlighted the accessibility of the tournament, saying an amateur can potentially go from walking into a Topgolf venue to competing on a national stage in just 30 days.
