- Major prizes: Jackpot-winning Dakota Cash or Lotto America tickets, Lucky for Life top-prize tickets, and second-prize Powerball or Mega Millions tickets must be presented in person at a Lottery office.
- Powerball or Mega Millions jackpot: These tickets must be claimed in person at the South Dakota Lottery office in Pierre.
