Louisiana Lottery retailers can pay prizes of up to $600. For prizes above $600, winners can claim their money by mail or at a Louisiana Lottery office. Any prize worth more than $5,000 must be claimed at a Lottery office.
Claiming by Mail
To mail in a winning ticket:
- Sign the back of the ticket and complete the required information. Make sure the barcodes remain visible.
- For scratch-off tickets, remove all scratch-off material.
- Make copies of the front and back of the ticket. Do not photocopy Powerball or Mega Millions tickets, as copies aren't accepted for those games.
- Fill out the Louisiana Lottery Prize Claim Form with your phone number and mailing address.
- Include a photocopy of a valid driver's license or current photo ID.
- Place everything in one envelope and mail it to:

- Easy 5: 9:59 p.m. CT on Wednesday and Saturday
