How to Claim a Vermont Lottery Prize
Prizes of up to $499 can be claimed at an authorized Vermont Lottery retailer or at Lottery Headquarters. Winners must sign their ticket and have it validated.
For prizes from $500 to $5,000, winners can visit an M&T Bank location in Vermont during Lottery office business hours, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., excluding state holidays.
Prizes over $5,000 must be claimed in person at Vermont Lottery Headquarters. Winners need a signed ticket, government-issued photo ID, and a completed claim form.
All prizes must be claimed within one year of the drawing date.

What Is Vermont Lottery Second Chance?
Vermont's Second Chance program gives players another opportunity to win after purchasing eligible non-winning instant scratch tickets. Players can enter qualifying tickets through the state's official Lottery website or app.
Second Chance drawings are generally held quarterly or as part of special promotions. Some drawings are conducted at Pollard Banknote Limited in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.
