Louisiana Lottery retailers can pay prizes of up to $600. For winnings above that amount, players can submit their tickets by mail or visit a Louisiana Lottery office. Prizes over $5,000 must be claimed at a Lottery office.
For mail-in claims, winners should:
- Sign the back of the winning ticket and make sure all barcodes are visible.
- Make a copy of both sides of the ticket. Copies aren't accepted for Powerball or Mega Millions tickets.
- Complete the Louisiana Lottery Prize Claim Form with a phone number and mailing address.
