How to Claim a Vermont Lottery Prize
Winning tickets worth up to $499 can be claimed at an authorized Vermont Lottery retailer or at Vermont Lottery Headquarters. The signed ticket must be presented for validation.
Prizes from $500 to $5,000 can be claimed at any M&T Bank location in Vermont during Lottery office hours, which are 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding state holidays.
For prizes over $5,000, winners must claim their prize in person at Vermont Lottery Headquarters. You'll need your signed ticket, a government-issued photo ID and a completed claim form.
All prizes must be claimed within one year of the drawing date.

What Is Vermont Lottery Second Chance?
Vermont's 2nd Chance program gives players another shot at winning after purchasing an eligible non-winning instant scratch ticket. Players can enter qualifying tickets for a chance to win cash or other prizes.
Registration is required through the Vermont Lottery's official website or app. Second Chance drawings are generally held quarterly or as part of special promotions, with drawings conducted at Pollard Banknote Limited in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.
