Greensboro Woman Wins $532,891 Fast Play Jackpot Just Before Independence Day

Instead of fireworks being the biggest highlight of the holiday, Pegram's winning ticket stole the show. She matched the numbers on her Fast Play ticket to the winning pattern displayed on the lottery terminal, securing the impressive prize.

Pegram said she enjoys playing Fast Play games because they remind her of bingo.

"I like playing the Fast Play games because they remind me of bingo," she said with a laugh.

The moment she realized she had won was almost impossible to process.

"I was turned upside down," Pegram recalled.

Everything finally felt real when she received her oversized prize check.

"I'm flabbergasted… I've never seen so much money," she said.
