Massachusetts Lottery Roundup: $1 Million Scratch Ticket Claimed After Shirley Store Sale

A lucky Massachusetts lottery player is officially $1 million richer after claiming a winning scratch ticket that was sold at M & M Convenience in Shirley on Tuesday.

The winning ticket came from the $10 "100X" scratch game. So far, four of the seven $1 million prizes have been claimed, which means three more $1 million winners are still waiting to be found. Even more exciting, the game's $4 million top prize is still available.

Another big winner also stepped forward on Tuesday, claiming a $50,000 prize from the $20 "$10,000,000 Cashword" scratch ticket. That lucky ticket was purchased at Trucchi's Market in Taunton.

Highlights

  • $1 million winning "100X" ticket claimed
  • Three $1 million prizes still unclaimed
  • One $4 million grand prize remains
  • More than 100 prizes worth $50,000 are still available in the "$10,000,000 Cashword" game, along with nine prizes of more than $1 million

The Massachusetts State Lottery also reported a busy day across the state. On Tuesday, at least 516 prizes worth $600 or more were either won or claimed. That included 56 winners in Boston, 14 in Springfield, and nine in Worcester.

The lottery publishes a daily list of winning tickets valued at more than $600, making it easy for players to check whether they're among the latest winners.

So far in 2026, the biggest Massachusetts lottery prize claimed is a $25 million jackpot from the "$25,000,000 Mega Money" scratch ticket. That winning ticket was sold at a Cumberland Farms gas station in Turners Falls, one of the five villages in Montague.
