💰 How to Claim a Michigan Lottery Prize
Michigan Lottery retailers can cash prizes of up to $600. For prizes below $100,000, winners can generally claim by mail or visit a Michigan Lottery Regional Office.
For a mailed claim, winners need to:
- Sign the winning ticket.
- Complete the required ticket receipt form.
- Include original government-issued photo ID and Social Security card.
- Make sure the names on both documents match exactly.

For prizes over $100,000, winners must claim the prize in person at Michigan Lottery Headquarters in downtown Lansing. Original government-issued photo identification and a Social Security card are required.
Appointments can be scheduled through the Lottery Player Relations office at 844-887-6836, option 2.
For prizes under $100,000, appointments are also required at Regional Offices. The locations include Lansing, Livonia, Sterling Heights, Detroit, Grand Rapids and Saginaw. Players can call 1-844-917-6325 to schedule an appointment.
