A lottery player in Middlesex County is celebrating a massive $2,975,145 win after matching all five numbers in the Jersey Cash 5 drawing on Monday, August 24.
The winning numbers were 01, 07, 08, 16 and 21, with 07 serving as the Bullseye. The XTRA number was 03.
The jackpot-winning ticket was sold through Jackpocket, and the retailer will receive a $2,000 bonus.
There were also plenty of other winners in the drawing:
- 111 players matched four numbers plus the Bullseye, winning $500 each.
- 27 of those winners used XTRA to boost their prizes to $1,500.
- The jackpot now resets to $150,000.
Jersey Cash 5 is a daily New Jersey Lottery game in which players choose five numbers from 1 through 45. Adding XTRA can increase non-jackpot prizes by as much as five times.
Drawings take place every day at 10:57 p.m.
