A San Antonio resident is celebrating a $1 million Texas Lottery win after hitting a top prize on the Million Dollar Loteria scratch-off game.

The winning ticket was purchased at Palo Alto Express, 719 Palo Alto Road, on San Antonio’s South Side. The winner has chosen to remain anonymous, according to a Thursday Texas Lottery news release.

The San Antonio winner was one of four Texans who recently claimed top prizes totaling $5 million.

Here’s a look at the big wins:

  • San Antonio: $1 million from Million Dollar Loteria
  • Baytown: $1 million from Mega Millionaire
  • Spring: $1 million from Premier Play
  • Haltom City: $2 million from Millionaire’s Club

The Million Dollar Loteria prize was the first of 10 $1 million top prizes claimed in the game. The scratch-off offers more than $385.3 million in total prizes, with overall odds of winning any prize listed at 1 in 3.29, including break-even prizes.

In Baytown, a winning Mega Millionaire ticket was sold at Revolution on East Wallisville Road. A Spring player bought the winning Premier Play ticket at Time Saver Food Mart on Spring Stuebner Road.

The biggest win of the group came from Haltom City, where a resident claimed $2 million from Millionaire’s Club. That ticket was sold at Nick’s Corner Mart.

All four winners opted to keep their identities private.

The retailers that sold the winning tickets could also receive $10,000 bonuses through the Texas Lottery’s Retailer Bonus Program.
