Four Texas Lottery players are celebrating a combined $5 million in scratch-ticket prizes, with two of the big wins coming from the Houston area.
Despite the rainy weather across Texas, these winners have plenty of reason to celebrate. The four prizes were claimed in different parts of the state:
- Houston area: Two players each won $1 million.
- San Antonio: One player scored another $1 million.
- North Texas: A Haltom City resident landed a $2 million prize.
In Baytown, one $1 million winner purchased a Mega Millionaire scratch ticket at Revolution, located on East Wallisville Road. The other Houston-area winner bought a Premier Play ticket from Time Saver Food Mart on Spring Stuebner Road in Spring.
The San Antonio winner hit a $1 million prize playing Million Dollar Loteria, while the North Texas winner took home $2 million with a Millionaire’s Club ticket.
All four winners chose to remain anonymous, according to the Texas Lottery.
There’s also a potential bonus for the retailers that sold the lucky tickets. Under the Texas Lottery’s Retailer Bonus Program, each store could qualify for a $10,000 bonus for selling a winning ticket.
