- Prizes of $100 or less: Take your ticket to any South Dakota Lottery retailer.
- Prizes of $101 or more: These must be claimed directly through the South Dakota Lottery. You can mail a completed claim form along with your signed winning ticket to the Lottery at 711 E. Wells Avenue, Pierre, SD 57501.
- Major prizes: Jackpot-winning Dakota Cash or Lotto America tickets, top Lucky for Life prizes, and second-tier Powerball or Mega Millions prizes must be presented in person at a Lottery office.
- Powerball or Mega Millions jackpots: Winning jackpot tickets must be claimed in person at the Lottery office in Pierre.
